About Us
Vinnies Services, Deniliquin - Mission Statement directs us to offer homeless, or potentially homeless and/or at risk men, women, families and young people opportunities, choices and support to enhance their lives.
The organization is committed to offering women and children escaping domestic violence the highest priority.
As part of the St Vincent de Paul Society an organization founded in France by a group of young men in 1833, the principal founder being blessed Frederic Ozanam, the organization is compelled to service those in need.
Just as Frederic (a young law student) and his band of young people fostered a just society, our staff respects the dignity of the individual while we advocate for and promote change, both within the individual and society. We acknowledge that individuals express themselves, their faith or spirituality in different ways therefore, we compliment our staff’s proficiencies to the strengths and skills of the people with whom we work.
Our three major programs are funded by Government at both a State and Federal level.
